Twin Cities Home Prices Improve

According to Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal...
Twin Cities home prices continued to improve in June along with the rest of the
nation, but Minneapolis-St. Paul still has a ways to go to make up for the
double-digit price drop over the last year.

Twin Cities home prices
increased 3.2 percent in June compared to the previous month, the third
consecutive increase the area's housing market has seen, according to the latest
Case-Shiller Home Price Index of 20 metro markets by Standard & Poor's.

CNN Money just realized their Best Places to Live – Chanhassen Minnesota comes in at number 10! Here’s the write up…

Despite some 2011 budgetary brouhahas in the state of Minnesota, Chanhassen has plenty going for it--including good jobs right within its borders (manufacturing and technology company Emerson is based here), evening diversion (the Chanhassen Dinner Theater is the nation’s oldest and largest), and nature galore (34 parks, 11 lakes, and the enormous Minnesota Landscape Arboretum). The town’s new state-of-the-art high school has racked up some national awards in just its second year

About 24.5 percent of Twin Cities residents have commutes of 15 minutes or less and 12 percent have commutes of 45 minutes or more.
