House Prices Are Up

Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal reports that the Twin Cities have seen a climb in housing prices this month. It’s the second month we’ve seen a rise – but experts seem to think that this may only be a seasonal bump…

Home prices across the nation and in the Twin Cities increased for the second consecutive month in May, according to a report released Tuesday.

But the report writers fear the good news is temporary.

Twin Cities prices were up 2.6 percent in May when compared to April, second only to Boston’s 2.7 percent increase, according to the latest Case-Shiller Home Price Index of 20 metro markets by Standard & Poors.
