This year is the 20th anniversary of that Minneapolis and Saint Paul Home Tour where homeowners open their homes to the public to come in and see renovations and additions that celebrate of city living and home improvement inspiration. Mark your calendar for Saturday and Sunday, April 28 & 29, 2007.
The Minneapolis St Paul Home Tour is a great chance to get an insider’s view of a neighborhood. Homeowners generally stay in their home during the tour. They are often happy to tell you about their homes, neighborhoods, school, and their decision to renovate or expand rather than move.
Before you go - give the Buyers Real Estate Group a call. We can help steer you in the right direction depending on what you house and neighborhood needs and expectations are.

Buyer Beware of Mortgage Fraud
Bankrate.com recently ran an article (Mortgage fraud flourishes in down markets) that shares an enlightening and entertaining story of a stay-at-home mom (former prosecutor) who did some sleuthing when strange real estate activity started happening in her neighborhood.
In a tough market sellers are more open to believing stories that seem unlikely. Buyers feel pressure to exaggerate their financial circumstance to qualify for more expensive homes. Real estate agents and mortgage brokers are more open to bending the rules when business has not been as busy as they might hope.
Unfortunately everyone suffers with mortgage fraud – read the article for more information. Contact an exclusive buyer agent to help you through the ropes of buying a home that is perfect for you – including a home you can afford.
